The Story:
Traditionally, candle-lighting time at the onset of Shabbos and Yom Tov is a special time for women’s supplications to God for blessing for the family, for good life, for compassion and salvation, for wise and learned children who love and fear God. This design captures both the words of the traditional blessing and prayer, as well as the candlesticks that shine from the artwork with rays of light, and sparkle with hand-sewn gems.
Details:
This design is stitched on beautiful white velvet fabric and incorporates Swarovksi crystals and sterling silver flutes that form the glow around the candlesticks. It has over 129,000 stitches and is stitched in 11 beautiful colors, including highlights in metallic thread. It is framed using an elegant frame and matting hand selected by Shalva to complement the artwork beautifully. The museum glass highlights the beautiful stitchwork.
